Additional Info

Thistlex® Herbicide

Thistlex® is a highly effective translocated herbicide designed for the control of both creeping and spear thistle. It is notably safe for grass and offers several benefits:

Key Benefits:

• Provides outstanding control of creeping thistle and spear thistle.
• Offers up to 85% control even 12 months after application.
• Exhibits activity against common nettle and dandelion.
• Does not inhibit grass growth after application.

Why Use Thistlex®: Thistles can be problematic because they:

• Compete with grass for vital resources like space, light, nutrients, and water.
• Tend to be unpalatable to livestock.
• Can lead to a higher incidence of conditions like Orf.
• Reduce the available grazing area.

Application Timing: Apply Thistlex® between March 1st and October 31st, once per year, at a rate of 1.0 L/ha in a water volume of 200 L/ha.

Thistlex® is an effective solution for controlling thistles while promoting healthy grass growth.
