JFC Starter Teat: Facilitating Newborn Calf Feeding

The JFC Starter Teat is designed to provide an optimal solution for feeding newborn calves. Its unique features aim to encourage the calf to suckle effectively, which has several benefits for the calf's health and overall development.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Inverted Nipple: The JFC Starter Teat features an inverted nipple design. This design is intentional, as it encourages the calf to engage in suckling. Suckling is a natural instinct for calves and a crucial step in their early development. It helps them acquire the necessary nutrients from their mother's milk.

• Enhanced Saliva Flow: By promoting suckling, the JFC Starter Teat helps increase saliva flow in the calf. Saliva plays a vital role in the digestive process, as it contains enzymes that begin breaking down milk components. Enhanced saliva flow contributes to better milk digestibility, ensuring that the calf receives the full nutritional benefits of the milk.

• Improved Milk Digestibility: With increased saliva flow and effective suckling, the calf's ability to digest milk is enhanced. This means that the calf can absorb essential nutrients more efficiently, supporting its growth and overall health.

In summary, the JFC Starter Teat is a valuable tool for ensuring the well-being of newborn calves. Its design encourages natural suckling behavior, leading to increased saliva flow and improved milk digestibility. By using this teat, you can help ensure that your calves receive the vital nutrients they need during their early stages of life.
