Doxstar® Pro - The Ultimate Dock Control Herbicide
Doxstar® Pro is a potent herbicide formulated to tackle all species of docks in established grassland, providing a robust solution to a persistent problem.
The Dock Dilemma: Docks can wreak havoc in grassland, impacting productivity and forage palatability. They compete with grass for light, nutrients, and moisture, leading to reduced grass yields. Docks also offer only 65% of the feed value of quality grass and are generally unappetizing to livestock. Dealing with docks requires a long-term solution.
Benefits of Doxstar® Pro:
- Effective on all dock species
- Translocated to the roots for long-term control
- Short grazing interval: Livestock can return to treated fields after just 7 days
- Excellent control of chickweed
Usage Guidelines: Doxstar® Pro is suitable for use on grassland intended for grazing, silage, hay, or haylage. It's essential to remove livestock during spraying and allow at least 7 days before returning them to the field. For the best long-term dock control, wait for 4 weeks after spraying before cutting. If using Doxstar® Pro after cutting, wait for 2-3 weeks to ensure sufficient weed regrowth.
Active Ingredients:
- 150 g/litre fluroxypyr
- 150 g/litre triclopyr
Timing for Application: Apply Doxstar® Pro 7 days before grazing or cutting for optimal results. Target actively growing docks in the rosette stage, measuring up to 200mm across or high.
